The awareness around Equipment Leasing is abysmally low in India. The reason is simple. It is lack of understanding. I continue to learn daily in spite of handling equipment leasing deals in excess of Rs. 1000 crores across a wide spectrum of customers and equipment.

A Little More About Me
I have successfully closed leasing contracts with customers ranging from startups to large global MNC’s, identified tricky commercial terms, negotiated complex lease agreements and bought and sold lease receivables.
In my last employment I had direct P&L responsibility of a USD 100 million leasing portfolio and have a deep understanding of GST, TDS, Lease Accounting and Tax implications across different equipment classes.
I have dealt with investors to raise funds and with multiple Banks and NBFC’s to sell equipment lease receivables.
